About Me

I build things from scratch—whether it's a bare-metal driver on a BeagleBone, a full-stack app that just works, or a custom testing tool that doesn’t rely on third-party fluff. I don’t care about hype or buzzwords. I care about understanding systems deeply and writing code that does what it’s supposed to—clean, fast, and under my control. I’ve worked across embedded systems, QA automation, web dev, and networking. I’ve built Playwright test suites, file sync tools in Rust, a custom cigarette tracker, and bare-metal robotics projects—all by digging deep, not cutting corners. I’m critical of my own work, I revisit things until they’re solid, and I don’t pretend to know what I don’t. My focus is simple: build useful software that holds up—technically and practically.

Outside of coding, I’m into hiking, biking, archery and animal photography. I appreciate the outdoors as long as there are animals lurking around. I also enjoy reading non-fiction books, mostly by Carl Jung, on psychology and human behavior. It's fascinating to try and understand how people think and make decisions.
